Claiming to be the world's largest festival dedicated to rum, RumFest is back for its sixth successive year.

Taking place at London's ExCeL exhibition centre on October 13-14, the event will showcase over 400 rums from around the world.

The organisers have also expanded this year's show to incorporate two events in one, with the trade able to gain entry to RumFest and the Tropical Food Market, as well as the Boutique RumFest, which will be included in the price of a ticket and celebrates new or small independent rums and cachaca brands.

RumFest offer "an unrivalled combination of the rarest and most delicious rums from across the globe, the ultimate Carnival atmosphere thanks to live music and exotic rhythms, rum-infused delicacies alongside food from across the Carribbean in the Tropical Food Market and the opportunity to delve further into the fascinating history of rum," according to organisers.

Celebrity chefs and presenters will be hosting live masterclasses, talks, seminars, cocktail battles and demonstrations, and on Sunday visitors will be given the opportunity to win a once-in-a-lifetime trip to a Caribbean Island.

In the Tropical Food Market chocolatier Paul Wayne Gregory and global rum ambassador Ian Burrell will launch a bespoke range of chocolates that have been crafted to compliment the flavours found in a number of different rum brands, and a series of seminars will delve into the art and science of pairing chocolate with rum.

Tickets start from only £20 and are on sale now, along with full event information, from the RumFest website.

UK RumFest forms part of London Cocktail Week which is set to take place from October 11-18 and will include a host of shows; one-off pop up bars; classes for novices and experienced professionals; seminars and tastings.
