Independents are invited to meet six of Australia and New Zealand's leading winemakers during the Negociants UK Winemaker Tour.

During September the winemakers will be traveling round London, Manchester and Bristol to present their wines and share their stories.

From the Barossa Valley will be Louisa Rose, head of winemaking at Yalumba; from the Clare Valley, Tom Barry, third-generation family winemaker at Jim Barry Wines; Margaret River will be represented by Virginia Willcock, chief winemaker at Vasse Felix; hailing from the Hunter Valley will be Iain Riggs, chief winemaker at Brokenwood; from across the Tasman, Clive Jones, Nautilus Estate chief winemaker; and Jeff Clarke, chief winemaker at Ara.

Between them, the winemakers share over 140 vintages' experience in Australia and New Zealand and further afield in Burgundy, Mosel, Austria, Sicily and Oregon.

The tastings will also see a handful of the winemakers' wines pitted against wines from across the globe in an international taste-off.

The tour will come to Manchester on September 18, London on September 20 and Bristol on September 24. For further information including locations, email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .
