Stefano Giovanazzi is capitalising on the recent craze sweeping Milan with the opening of Glasgow's Prosecco bar Fantinel.

Situated at Paperino's West End on Byres Road, Giovanazzi says its opening marks the culmination of months of planning and considerable investment in a bid to continue to drive Glasgow's hospitality sector onto new levels.

"The opening of our Prosecco bar sets a new benchmark that elevates Glasgow's food and drink scene to a level where it can compete alongside the cosmopolitan capitals of the world."

Fantinel is a family-owned Italian wine and spirits company based in Friuli, and crafts the only DOC Prosecco produced in the grape's native region.

The bar is open from 9am, Monday to Saturday, and serves breakfast.
