Master of Wine Liam Steevenson and independent wine merchant Red & White are to open a wine school in Bristol.

The Red & White Wine School is to offer WSET courses up to diploma level as well as wine appreciation courses. The classroom facility, which can hold 25 people, will be in Clifton Village, Bristol.

Steevenson said: "I have always believed in wine education. The WSET still offers the most complete approach to education in wine, and I am thrilled that we are going to engage with people throughout the South-West and give them the tools in which to work with and enjoy wine even more."

Steevenson set up Red & White six years ago and the company also has a warehouse and shop in Kingsbridge, Devon. For course information call 0845 6830012 or email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it
