Bibendum takes on three new agencies

The two Italian link-ups are with spirits producers Fratelli Francoli and Fratelli Averna. The third partnership is with Bajan beer producer 10 Saints, who produces beer aged in rum barrels.
The deal with Fratelli Francoli will see Bibendum take over distribution of Italian liqueur Opal Nera, as well as Fratello liqueur and Luigi Francoli grappa from February 1.
Its second Italian partnership - with Fratelli Averna - brings the Averna and Limoncetta brands to Bibendum.
The third agency - 10 Saints lager - is the newest beer from Barbados which is aged for a period of up to 90 days in old Mount Gay rum barrels to give a hint of rum on the finish.
The brands join the likes of Crystal Head Vodka, Plantation Rum, Pierre Ferrand Dry Curacao and Coopers Ale in the Bibendum portfolio.
Nick Rodgers, head of spirits at Bibendum, said: "2013 is set to be a really exciting year for our spirits and beer brands. The new partnerships are with brilliant producers who share our values - they are independent, in fact mostly family run, they have a passion for quality production and natural ingredients, and they care about the environment.
"Our new brands will see us diversifying into new sales channels and we will continue to seek partnerships that strengthen our business."
Michael Saunders, Bibendum's managing director, added that there has been enormous growth in its spirits category over recent years, and the new producers will further strengthen its position, on the back of its Crystal Head Vodka and Plantation Rum successes.
All new agencies will make their debut at Bibendum's A Matter of Taste annual tasting at The Brewery, on February 6.
