There are just a few places remaining at Harpers' upcoming Cape Crusaders – Wines for your Business tasting, which will take place on January 29.
Featuring a selection of consumer-friendly South African wines from medium-sized producers and smaller boutique labels, the event is open to a strictly limited number of buyers with genuine interest in quality South African wines.
The wines are exclusive to the independent merchant, restaurant, pub and related wholesale trades, and offer a rare opportunity to reassess the repositioned ranges of some of South Africa's leading estates, plus taste smaller estates also aimed at the premium market.
The Cape Crusaders Tasting forms a core part of Harpers' South Africa Project 2013 and is designed to allow credible buyers access to both the wines and the people who are serious about growing sustainable business partnerships through supporting mid-to-premium South African sales in the UK.
With the favourable quality-to-value ratio of South Africa highlighted against the global 2012 vintage shortfall and associated price rises, the tasting will also give buyers the chance to make an early assessment of wines that could boost both the consumer appeal and profitability of their portfolio or wine list.
Cape Crusaders – Wines for your Business will take place on January 29 from 1pm to 5pm at South Africa House, Trafalgar Square, London WC2N 5DP.
