For a chance to taste wines from small, terroir-driven French producers, head to the fourth annual First Date for France tasting on February 12.

Taking place at the Royal Opera House in London's Covent Garden, the event will feature producers shown for the first time on the UK market.Visitors will also be able to meet the producers face to face and learn more about the wines on offer.

Gersende Pommery, senior project manager at Sopexa, said: "The tasting is a relaxed yet informative day, and a real opportunity to taste some new wines from passionate and enthusiastic French producers.

"We have already got a fantastic line-up for this year's tasting and are looking forward to sharing the wines with the UK trade for the first time."
