To help mark its 30 year anniversary the International Wine Challenge is looking to recognise the person who the trade thinks has been the biggest influence in wine over the last three decades.

Members of the trade are invited to take part in an online poll and nominate the individual they think has been the most influential figure in terms of promoting global wine sales.

A shortlist of five will be drawn up from all the online nominations received by April 30 and then there will again be an open vote for everyone in the trade to pick the winner from those five.

All five on the shortlist will be invited to attend the IWC awards dinner at the Grosvenor House hotel in London on July 18.
