John E Fells has taken over agency duties for Champagne Henriot in order to bring the producer's brands under one roof.
John E Fells already represents Bouchard Pere & Fils, William Fevre and Villa Ponciago, which all fall under the Henriot Family Estates umbrella.
Champagne Henriot is currently represented by Enotria, but will move to John E Fells on May 1. Thomas Henriot, Champagne Henriot's chairman, said while Enotria had been a true partner over the past few years, it was critically important the entire portfolio was represented by one agency.
Alison Levett, managing director at Enotria, said: ‘We are sorry that Champagne Henriot is moving on but understand the strategic rationale. It is an amicable parting of the ways and we appreciate the flexible handover arrangements that Champagne Henriot have extended to us.'
While John E Fells managing director Steve Moody said: ‘We are delighted that Fells will shortly resume responsibility for the sales and marketing of Champagne Henriot here in the UK. Fells will continue with the good work undertaken by Enotria as we further develop Champagne Henriot's position.'
Champagne Henriot is an independent, family-owned producer, which was founded in Reims in 1808. |
