Washington and Oregon will be holding its biggest ever wine tasting at the Institute of Contemporary Arts on January 21.

For the first time, 190+ wines from 40 wineries will be showcasing their wines at the event, now in its second year.

At least 17 of the wineries are looking for UK representation. The wine tasting will also include two educational seminars.

The first seminar, starting at 11.30, will be presented by Marty Clubb, winemaker and co-owner of L'Ecole no.41. It will focus on 'Why Washington is the Perfect Climate for Wine' (the Washington Wine Commission strap-line), and will discuss a selection of grape varieties, which do well in Washington like Riesling, Merlot and Syrah.

The second seminar (2pm) will be presented by Howard Rossbach, proprietor of Firesteed in Oregon and will focus on Oregon Pinot (Noir, Blanc and Gris).
When: 21st January 2008
Venue: The Institute of Contemporary Arts, Institute Of Contemporary Arts, Nash House, 12 Carlton House Terrace, London, SW1Y 5AH
Timing: 10.30am to 4.30pm
