Louis Roederer champagne house has launched the English version of its new website, www.louis-roederer.com.

The new Louis Roederer website has a split-screen homepage
Designed by Paris-based French interactive agency Duke, the new site aims to move away from the traditional static content model for champagne house websites.

Instead, it looks to provide an interactive user experience through blended images, fine text and graphic packages.

The French version of the website was launched successfully in March earlier this year.

There is a split screen function on the site homepage contrasting technical detail from the Roederer winemaking family against its art patronage worldwide.

Interactive illustrations currently display the first six months of development of Roederer vines with further graphic details to be released on the website in due course.

Frdric Rouzaud, president of Champagne Louis Roederer, said: "With the launch of our new website we want to show our loyalty to both creativity and tradition. All forms of art require the same levels of commitment and determination to create a true masterpiece."
