Wines of Argentina tasting must broaden scope

This year's Wines of Argentina trade tasting is looking to cater for as broad as spectrum of visitors as possible, according to the trade body's UK director.

James Forbes, Wines of Argentina UK director, told TalkingDrinks.com: "Our annual trade tasting is the most important event of the year.

"Although we are very much focussed on the commercial side of the event at the same time we need to cater for as broad a spectrum of visitors as possible."

His comments will come of interest to Matthew Dickinson, commercial director at Thierry's, who said at this year's London International Wine Fair (LIWF) the industry needed to use trade fairs as a greater opportunity to communicate with consumers.

The event will take place on September 17 at Lord's Cricket Ground, London, between 10am and 6pm.
