Ex Newcastle United, Aston Villa and Tottenham Hotspur footballer David Ginola is to launch his own brand of rosé wine in the UK.

The former French international footballer has unveiled his Coste Brulade 2007 rosé at a launch in the north-east, also attended by his former manager Kevin Keegan. It will go on sale next year.

Ginola owns his own winery in the Cotes de Provence, and plans to add red and white variants to the line in the future.
