Corona adds Ibizan flavour to trade support initiative |

Corona Extra has undertaken one of its biggest ever support programmes with the trade by flying 70 key distributors and account customers to Ibiza for a three day party.![]() The Wells and Young owned brewer has flown customers from the UK, Greece, Norway, Germany, Italy and Portugal to the party island for a three day VIP experience entitled ‘Corona Island'. The trip includes a stay at Pacha hotel and entry to a number of the island's clubs. The initiative follows Corona Extra launching its first ever £1 million national advertising campaign in the UK last month with the strapline ‘The Beginning'. Chris Lewis, director of marketing at Wells and Young's, said: "Corona Island complements The Beginning campaign by supporting the above the line activity with direct support for the trade. "The brand has seen a phenomenal rise in popularity and this initiative is a powerful way to consolidate that support and strengthen ties with key accounts." Related Articles
