Fuller's has launched the first beer from its Autumn Beer Festival line up.

The London-based brewer and pub operator is rolling out the fruity, 3.8% ABV Gales Seafarers Ale in Fuller's and free trade pubs throughout September. Five pence from every pint sold is being donated to maritime charity Seafarers UK.

Sales of the beer in 2007 raised nearly £4,000.

In October Fuller's will release its 4.3% ABV Red Fox ale, and in November, the award winning London Porter beer, named as one of the World's 50 Best Beers at the Intenational Beer Challenge 2007.

John Roberts, managing director of The Fuller's Beer Company, said: "We have a superb range of award-winning beers that are available in cask all year round. But our brewers have many more recipes up their sleeves and each year we like to give our customers a taste of something a little different."
