UK wine merchant Hennings has agreed an import distribution deal in the UK with Paritua Vineyards.

Independent wine merchant Hennings will stock Paritua's full range of wines, which are produced under two brands; Stone Paddock and Paritua, from September. A selection of Stone Paddock wines has already been available in Hennings shops over the summer.

Paritua Vineyards is an emerging producer in New Zealand, recently winning three silver medals at the 2007 Decanter World Wine Awards.

"Paritua was an exciting discovery for us" says Nathan Fynes, marketing manager of Hennings. "We were stunned to find a complete range of wines not only offering pure varietal and regional definition, but also sensational quality across the spectrum."

Wines on offer to the UK trade include the Paritua Riesling 2007, Paritua Pinot Noir 2006 and Stone Paddock Syrah 2007.
