Waboomsrivier signs exclusive deal with Besós UK

Waboomsrivier Co-operative in South Africa has appointed Besós UK to exclusively represent the winery in the UK.
The winery, situated in Wabooms in South Africa, will produce a new range of wines under the WagenBoom brand name, which will be distributed exclusively by Besós UK Ltd. The range is expected to be available later this year.
Commenting on the agreement from South Africa, Mike Wakefield of Besós UK said: "Wabooms is one of the finest wineries in Worcester, with 1,400 hectares under vine.
"We're over the moon with this new venture. Rather than simply supplying bulk, we've decided to take the direct approach to market with WagenBoom - most certainly a bold move in the current economic climate."
Wabooms was one of the first cellars in South Africa to import the complete ‘Perra' concept from France.
