The potent pull of M&S wine

Written by Claire Weekes

I'm starting to wonder at the magic M&S seems to have woven into its wine collection.

Only last week Tim Atkin was raving about it in his weekly Observer column. And now I've just found out that a couple of coppers have been arrested on suspicion of swiping bottles of the stuff from its shelves.

Now this might not be a good ad for the reputations of the coppers in question, but it's not a bad plug for M&S's wine range. Surely if it's worth that amount of (suspected) risk on the part of the coppers, it must be pretty good stuff!
