A horse walks into a bar...

I come across some strange stories in my daily trawl of the internet's various newswires, but this one takes the biscuit for being one of the most ludicrous I've come across of late.

"Police Test Horse For Alcohol" reads the headline on the Police Oracle website. Apparently, police in Romania pulled over a horse and cart after the horse appeared to be acting "out of control", despite its owners best efforts to control it.

The most incredible bit? It actually tested positive! Police suspect the horse might have been given alcohol to make it look stronger and healthier before it was sold - the man had just bought it at a fair and was on his way home.

Either that, or it all started when the horse walked into a bar and the bartender asked "why the long face?"...
