United Brands makes premium addition to portfolio

United Brands has announced Godfrey's Schnapps as the latest addition to its premium portfolio.

The Southampton based distributor aims to increase Godfrey's presence in the on-trade and focus on developing the position of the brand as a key player in the specialist drinks market.

Godfrey's Schnapps has a heritage of over 80 years. Originally available in peach and apple, the range now includes butterscotch, vanilla, banana, cherry and chocolate spice.

"We are delighted to be working with Godfrey's, as we feel it has enormous growth potential due to the superior quality and versatility as a drink. Godfrey's is an exciting addition that fits in perfectly with the United Brands group," commented Rob Preston, managing director of United Brands.
