SPI Group and William Grant sign Stolichnaya deal

Drinks company SPI Group, owner of the Stolichnaya vodka brand, has entered into an agreement with William Grant & Sons for the distribution of Stolichnaya in the United States.
Andrey Skurikhin, SPI minority shareholder, said: "William Grant & Sons has a wonderful portfolio and a proven track record with super premium spirits. The company is one of the fastest-growing spirits portfolios in the United States.
"While there were many suitors for the Stolichnaya brand, William Grant & Sons is the best partner for us."
Simon Hunt, President, William Grant & Sons USA, described Stolichnaya as "a truly iconic brand which fits perfectly into the William Grant & Sons portfolio."
