Champagne Jacquart has issued a statement saying that Jean-Marc Pottiez "is no longer acting as managing director of the company".
No further details were revealed in the statement, issued on Wednesday (February 25). Pottiez had been at the helm of Jacquart - part of the Alliance Champagne Group - since 2003. The Reims company, which represents 30 winegrowers, exports just under a quarter of its production to the UK where its sales are handled by Paragon and PLB.
