A cream sambuca liqueur is being launched by Italian producer Luxardo

It is one of a range of new flavours which will make their international debut on the UK market this summer.

The main brand is also to receive revamped packaging.

Luxardo is releasing black, cranberry, pomegranate, spiced apple and raspberry styles, all bottled at 38% abv.

The cream sambuca is 17% abv.

UK agent Cellar Trends will be supporting the trade with POS, training and bespoke promotions.

Marketing manager Catherine Rigby said: "The flavours reflect the coming of age of sambuca as a desirable addition alongside mainstream spirits.

"The new Luxardo logo has greater stand-out and sambuca is named prominently on the labels.

"Adding a twist to the popular anise of the original Luxardo sambuca, these are adventurous new flavours that can be enjoyed on their own, and are versatile for cocktails."
