Diageo GB has announced it plans to drive sales of its new Smirnoff flavoured vodkas with a £3.65m marketing campaign.

Lime Smirnoff and green apple Smirnoff have been trialled in selected on-trade outlets in Bristol for the past year.

The flavours will be available nationally this month.

Diageo's marketing spend will focus on national radio and online campaigns alongside outdoor advertising.

The Smirnoff flavours campaign will be supported by on-trade visibility kits and empty-belly posters.

Other point of sale materials include bar runners, optics, back bar displays and ice buckets.

A sampling campaign will also begin in the on-trade in September in a bid to encourage licensees to cash-in on raised awareness of the new flavours.
