Constellation Europe has extended its Jack Rabbit wine brand with the launch of a Chilean Sauvignon Blanc.

The brand is the sixth best selling wine in the on-trade, according to Nielsen data quoted by Constellation. The new varietal is aimed at consumers who are new to the wine category.

Wine Nation, Constellation Europe's study of UK wine consumers, identified an opportunity to extend the Jack Rabbit range.

Clare Griffiths, vice president of European consumer marketing for Constellation, said: "Jack Rabbit has already proved a hit amongst ‘newbie' wine consumers, and we were keen to grow and develop the brand's range to maintain this upward trend.

"Sauvignon Blanc is currently the fastest-growing white wine varietal, and is also very food-friendly, providing on-trade outlets with an excellent opportunity to maximise sales."

Jack Rabbit Sauvignon Blanc is available for order now in draught (10-litre), bottles (75cl) and minis (187ml).
