A new consumer drinks show will take place at Vinopolis in London in November.

The event, called Bibulous, will promote cocktails, as well as wines and beers, with the aim of inspiring consumers in their on and off-trade purchases in the run-up to Christmas.

It will take place over four sessions on Friday, November 27 and Saturday, November 28 and aim to be both educational and entertaining, according to the organisers, who are described as "experts in the off and on-trade who are passionate about drinks".

Brands "with an adventurous edge and quality profile" are being invited to exhibit.

"Mixologists, distillers and taste makers will be able to let loose their knowledge to help visitors explore innovative and limited edition drinks, and sought after rarities," said a Bibulous spokeswoman. "This sociable, entertaining experience is for fans of fine spirits and those who are cocktail-curious.

"Consumers will be inspired with confidence to drink differently and drink better, and make a braver choice of bottle - from the new generation of super-spirits through to new releases from classic brands."

Consumer information and tickets will be available from late summer.
