This year's Top 100 tasting at the London International Wine Fair will feature 30 sparkling wines and 70 "regional ambassadors" to mark the exhibition's 30th anniversary.

The regional ambassadors will be wines chosen for their expression of variety and terroir by The Wine Gang, the online collective of wine reviewers comprising Tim Atkin MW, Tom Cannavan, Anthony Rose, Joanna Simon and Olly Smith.

The Top 100 is a free-pour tasting within the fair, featuring wines at various price-points chosen on the basis of quality, consistency and value-for-money.

This year's Top 100 will be selected from wines given a score of 85% or more by The Wine Gang.

Marketing director Will Broadfoot said: "The Top 100 feature was a great success in 2009, with very positive feedback on the wines selected by The Wine Gang."

This year's LIWF is at ExCel in London from May 18 to 20.
