South Australian wines will take centre stage at luxury London retailer, Harrods in August.

More than forty South Australian wines will be featured in a month-long promotion, with wines from eight of the main producing regions.

Lisa McGovern, director Wine Australia UK and Europe, said: "We are delighted to be working with Harrods on this promotion, and for the opportunity to introduce their customers to a range of fine wines from South Australia.  We are keen to showcase new styles and flavours and to demonstrate the history and quality from across the state."

A tutored tasting will be held on August 17 at the Harrods Wine Store, offering guests the chance to try the wines with Harrods' buying team. The promotion runs until August 23.

The state's wines will also be available in four of Harrods' restaurants.
