SITT Spring opens its doors to independents in Manchester

Published:  24 February, 2014

Leading independent merchants, sommeliers and restaurateurs will be heading to Manchester's Old Trafford Cricket Club today for the start of this spring's Specialist Importers Trade Tasting and the chance to discover new and diverse wines from suppliers focused on the independent sector.

The traditional February SITT tastings have become a key date in independents' diaries and after today the event moves to London's Linley Hall in the Royal Horticultural Halls in London on Wednesday, February 26.

This year's tastings include some 65 exhibitors showing wines from all the world specifically targeted at the independent and the on and off - trade sectors.

It will also include the chance to discover more about the wines of Brazil in a special masterclass. The session will also reveal how independents can make the most of this year's World Cup taking place in Brazil in the summer. SITT visitors will also find out how they could win a trip to Brazil for both themselves and their customers in a series of trade and consumer promotions.
