Brothers Drinks has redesigned the bottle for its range of ciders to make them easier to fit into pub fridges.

The height has been reduced to the same size as a Magners bottle, while the volume of liquid remains at 50cl.

Brothers said that a 25% weight reduction in packaging would help the firm improve is carbon footprint.

Brothers Drinks co-founder Matthew Showering said: "The launch of the new bottle allows retailers and bars to stock our cider without having to compromise on shelf space. With this move, we expect to see an increase in stockists by the end of the year."

The new packaging will be introduced across the whole Brothers range.
