In order to strengthen its position as the leading importer of Indian wines, Novum has taken on Fratelli Wines from Akluj, Maharashtra.

Fratelli is an Italian/Indian joint venture overseen by Piero Masi, owner of Azienda Agricola Colmano, Piero Masi. The wines imported are: Classic White, Chenin Blanc, Chardonnay, Classic Red and Cabernet Sauvignon, all 2011. The range offers a good well-rounded selection of very drinkable wines that veer towards a more delicate palate, and will complement spicy foods. The Classic White has subtle and gentle white stone fruit flavours. The Chardonnay and Chenin Blanc show a touch more complexity, personality and roundness. The Classic red has soft red berry fruit flavours and a gentle finish. The Cabernet Sauvignon has a spicy red-fruit palate, with firm tannins and a gentle bite.
