The Hine family has, over the years, acquired the intuitive skill of judging when an individual young Cognac has the potential to develop into something very special.
The 1983 vintages have shown just that to the family, who are releasing this timely anniversary duo of Hine Jarnac-Matured 1983 (rrp £359.95) and Hine Early Landed 1983 (rrp £285).
Fewer than 50 bottles remain of this pair of Cognacs, as fine wine, aged vintages in peak condition are a great rarity. Polished wood and leather are the first aromas to hit the nose on its Jarnac-Matured 1983 superseded by a palate of treacle toffee, spice and nutty flavours, followed through by a velvety smooth mouth-coating finish. |
