Beam Global UK's world renowned L'Esprit de Courvoisier is now rarer than ever with just nine bottles remaining in the UK.
The multi-award winning blend contains scarcely available cognacs dating back to the Napoleonic era. Housed in individually numbered hand-cut Lalique crystal decanters, this gem in the Courvoisier portfolio retails at £5,000 and is sold at Harrods in London and served by the glass at some of the UK's most prestigious establishments including The Dorchester and The Ritz.
UK brand manager Claire Richards says: "L'Esprit de Courvoisier is the most premium cognac in our range, loved by connoisseurs and collectors. Its unique quality and rarity has made this exceptional cognac one of the most sought after in the world. We are expecting the current retail price to inflate due to its limited supply and esteemed status."
Describing L'Esprit, Courvoisier master blender Jean-Marc Olivier says: "This cognac is full of rich truffle notes, the smoke of Havana cigars and fragrances of cinnamon and dried apricot flavours. It's very powerful in the mouth with a long and intense yet delicate aftertaste. A beautiful composition for true connoisseurs of cognac."
Jean-Marc Olivier and his team are currently developing a new blend to cater for the super-premium market and more news on this will be released next year
