Russian Standard, the "essential vodka to ensure a truly magical Christmas this year", has created a range of Christmas cocktail recipes to be enjoyed with its Imperia vodka brand.

This ultra-premium vodka is the result of a perfect marriage between Russia's fabled heritage and its 21st century dynamism.

Authentically distilled and bottled in Russia, Imperia is the ultimate luxury vodka and the perfect accompaniment for the holiday season.

Through its selection of ingredients and state-of-the-art filtration and distillation process, Imperia boasts an exceptional purity with a clean, velvety smooth taste. Imperia Vodka starts with the highest grade of winter wheat grains harvested from the Black Steppes in the heart of Russia, ensuring the most authentic of origins.

The spirit is distilled four times, and it is here that Imperia begins where others end. The spirit is then distilled another four times, for a total of eight distillations, before being blended with the softest glacial water from Lake Ladoga, Europe's largest lake, so it reaches the perfect equilibrium, established by Dmitri Mendeleev, the founder of the Periodic Table, for the Russian Czar. The liquid is then filtered twice through charcoal and twice through quartz crystals from the Ural Mountains, one of the world's oldest mountain ranges.

Produced in Russia's Imperial City of St. Petersburg, Imperia Vodka is the definitive luxury vodka of its era, offering an exceptionally pure and authentic taste of modern Russian luxury and one that should be at the top of all Christmas drink lists this winter.

Available now in select outlets, including Harrods, London:

Someone that understands a little about traditional vodka (Eastern European from Countries) and distillation, can't take this seriously. After 4 distillation you lose any sort of taste on a spirit of any kind. In other terms, the more you distill, the more you loose. There is a merit of distilling 3 to 4 times but more than 5 is a waste of energy and pure marketing gimmick.
