If you're looking for something new and exciting, says Paul Mas, then try the Domaine Paul Mas, Mas des Mas Pinot Blanc 2010.
It's a new grape variety for Mas having been harvested for the first time in 2009 from vineyards in Marseillette, at the foothills of the Montagne Noire. Fermented in stainless steel tanks and aged for three months on the lees there are aromas of passionfruit, white pear and mineral notes with an elegant palate of tropical fruit flavours, to be expected on the palate. Exclusive to Majestic from February 2011 (rrp 7.99 on offer until May).
