Of course these pages are not all about new wines and spirits, you have to drink them from some receptacle or other.

Enter the House of Krug which alongside Riedel has created a glass designed to fully enhance the experience of drinking its Krug Grande Cuvée. Named The Joseph after Krug founder, Joseph Krug, this is not any old glass; after several intense tests, and prototypes made it was narrowed down to the ‘one'. Made from a single piece, the glass is drawn out to form the foot and is elongated to provide an elegant stem. The curve of the glass concentrates the aromas and flavours and the shape encourages bubble movement and allows the Champagne to reach the ideal temperature for serving Krug - 9° centigrade. The Sharing Set (rrp £200) will be released in time for the festive season. Available in Harrods and Selfridges from October.
