Krug thinks pink

French designer François Bauchet has come up with a new look for Krug Rosé.

The packaging now features a shimmering silver-pink gift box', which opens to reveal the Champagne against a purple background.

Krug Ros was introduced in 1983, and the company says that it was all thanks to the hot, dry 1976 harvest, which led Henri Krug (brother of Rmi) to experiment with ros.

Krug Ros, which retails for 160 a bottle, is available at a number of outlets including Harrods, Wimbledon Wine Cellars, and Berry Bros & Rudd.
