Twelve wines from Chilean producer Viña Casas Patronale will be launched in the UK at the forthcoming Wines of Chile tastings.

The winery's export director, Alexs Fuentealba, will attend the tastings in London and Manchester to launch the range, which includes international varietals Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay, as well as the grape Carmenere.

The Maule winery has a capacity of 3.5 million tonnes and already sells to 24 different export markets.

The wines will retail at 4.99 to 6.99 and will be distributed by Free Run Wines.

Charles Elms, director of Free Run Wines, said: "Chilean wines have a strong presence in the UK on- and off-trade market and are progressing well in terms of market share. We look forward to developing this opportunity."
