Russian premium vodka to be launched in India

RUSSIA: Russian Standard Platinum is to be introduced in key Indian Markets

The Narang Group will distribute and market Russian Standard Platinum vodka in 750 ml bottles in all of India's metropolitan areas, including Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Pune and Goa.

Roustam Tariko, founder of Russian Standard Vodka, said, "The introduction of Russian Standard Platinum in India is a milestone in our mission to bring Russia's best and most authentic vodka to the world.

"We are now available in over 40 countries and I am incredibly proud to bring Russian Standard Platinum to Indian consumers."

Russian Standard Vodka is Russia's holds a 60% share of the premium market. It was ranked the fourth fastest growing premium spirits brand worldwide by US data tracking company Impact in 2006.

Russian Standard premium brands (Standard Original and Imperia) will be launched in India shortly.
