Stratford?s Wine Agencies will be launching Wakefield?s award-winning Jaraman ?fusion? range in the UK market at the Australia Day Tasting on Thursday 31 January (stand 3).

An exciting addition to the existing Wakefield portfolio, the focus for Jaraman will be mainly on the on-trade. The wines aim to showcase the very best of South Australian varietals - combining premium Clare Valley fruit from the family's vineyards with fruit from icon wine regions, resulting in wines that boast a unique regional expression.

Mitchell Taylor, Managing Director and consultant winemaker, Wakefield Wines, comments: "For some time we have been perfecting cross-regional blending and with Jaraman we are using the best from two great regions to make these fantastic wines. The Cabernet Sauvignon, for example, is a blend of the Clare and Coonawarra, while the Chardonnay hails from the Clare and Adelaide Hills. Put simply, we have bottled the best of both worlds to make wine that is complex, intriguing and has great appeal. The result is a single variety wine with a multi-dimensional structure."
