Some 3,000 cases of the non-vintage ros will be released in the UK this year.

Ascot Racecourse will be serving the Champagne in its Parade Ring Restaurant and Royal Enclosure bar from Thursday June 17 to Saturday June 21.

Gary England, director of sales and marketing for event hospitality, said serving the new Bollinger Ros Champagne was a "testament to Royal Ascot's place as the centerpiece of the British Social Calendar".

Bollinger Ros is modelled on the Special Cuve blend, combining the fruits of previous harvests plus the addition of reserve wines from its cellars in Ay.
