Bottle Green Ltd is pleased to announce the launch of Mancura, a new Chilean wine range from Viña Morandé. The brand has already received success in other markets worldwide so the two companies are very excited to see the wines launch in t he UK.
The name Mancura comes from the ancient word Manquecura, which means Stone Condor. An ancient Chilean myth states that the Stone Condor was the guardian of the grape harvest and the farmers would leave offerings to honour and thank him for his generosity. He would then come to life, fly down and carry the offerings back to the top of the mountains. The launch of Mancura marks a new chapter in the growth of Bottle Green's strategy with Viña Morandé. Three of the wines from the Reserva level of the range have already secured listings with Somerfield. The Chardonnay, Carmenere & Cabernet Merlot Rosé make their in-store debut this week and retail at £7.99. The eye-catching label design with an image of two Stone Condors is sure to engage consumers and ensure the wines literally fly off the shelves. Related Articles
