Bordeaux Tasting in New York and London

Read more about

Le Cercle Rive Droite, an association of wine producers from Bordeaux's Right Bank will host in London on March 12 2008 an advanced tasting of 2007 en primeur wines.

London and New York have been chosen as the only two cities in the world to host this advanced tasting of Le Temps des Primeurs (the annual Bordeaux tasting). It will take place in New York on March 10 2008.

Twenty-six top châteaux will be presented by producers from the region at this exclusive event in London to a VIP audience of press and trade.

This is the second year that a preview tasting of the new vintage will be held outside the Bordeaux region. “In 2007 vintage looks promising. Despite unsettled weather, September and October were very sunny giving aromatic and subtle wines”, says Alain Raynaud, Président of Le Cercle Rive Droite.

Wines of the following Châteaux will be presented at the events:

- Sainte-Foy Bordeaux Château Hostens-Picant
- Premières Côtes de Bordeaux Château Carignan-Prima
- Côtes de Blaye Château Haut-Bertinerie
- Fronsac Château Dalem, Château de la Dauphine, Château Moulin-Haut Laroque, Château de la Rivière, Château La Vieille Cure
- Pomerol Château Bonalgue, Clos du Clocher, Clos l'Eglise, Domaine de l'Eglise, Château Vieux Maillet
- Lalande de Pomerol Château Tournefeuille
- Saint-Emilion Grands Crus Château Barde Haut, Château Boutisse, Château La Commanderie, Château Côte de Baleau, Château La Marzelle, Château de Pressac, Château Quinault l'Enclos
- Saint-Emilion Grands Crus Classés Clos des Jacobins, Château Fleur Cardinale
- Puisseguin Saint-Emilion Château Guibot La Fourvieille
- Lussac Saint-Emilion Château de Lussac, Château La Rose Perrière
