Malcolm Cowen takes on Tullibardine Whiskies distribution

Read more about

Specialist spirits company Malcolm Cowen is taking on the UK distribution of all Tullibardine Highland Malt Whiskies from this week.

The Wine Importers company, which previously handled the brand, will continue to wholesale the Tullibardine range in Scotland.

Michael Beamish, director of Tullibardine, said: “While we have greatly enjoyed working with Wine Importers to develop our range of vintage malts, we are excited now to be working with Malcolm Cowen, who are specialists in the development of spirits and liqueurs, and who will now take the sales of Tullibardine's range of malts to the next stage in the UK market.”

Tullibardine is one of the few remaining independently-owned distilleries in Scotland and has developed its sales both in the UK and overseas in recent years.

It now has an extensive range of malts, headed by its flagship 1993 Vintage, described as light and fruity and “eminently quaffable."

David John, sales director of Malcolm Cowen, commented: “We are delighted to be representing Tullibardine which compliments our portfolio of malt whisky perfectly.

"Tullibardine is a top-quality niche distiller which has an easy drinking style and an impressive range of aged whiskies that will provide a really compelling offering for discerning consumers.”
