Tesco trials Boru Vodka

Read more about

Boru Vodka is set to invade more British supermarket shelves as Tesco confirms plans to launch the Irish spirit in selected stores across the UK.

Southampton based distributor United Brands has announced that the supermarket giant will embark on an initial probationary selling period of their multiple award winning vodka from April 16th 2008.

Rob Preston, Co-owner of United Brands, commented “This news endorses the strides we have made with the brand over the last year, the packaging, liquid and price point make Boru an exceptional proposition for Tesco consumers”.

Produced in County Cork, Boru Vodka is premium vodka that has been 5 times distilled using pristine spring water and a charcoal filtering process to achieve exceptional clarity and smoothness. With an award winning bottle design and a name inspired by the legendary Irish King famed for driving invaders from Ireland's shores, its crisp, even taste makes it a fresh alternative to enjoy neat, as a martini or the foundation of a cocktail.
