El Circulo launches new vintages

Read more about

Spanish wine producer Pagos del Rey S.L., part of the Felix Solis Avantis group, is launching new vintages for the two wines in their El Circulo range.

El Circulo Joven

El Circulo Joven (pictured) is now 2007 vintage and the recently launched El Circulo Crianza is now 2005 vintage.

El Circulo Joven 2007, now in its third vintage since launch, is to be bottled this week. The 2007 harvest is said to be good and quite typical of Rioja. The producers Pagos del Rey S.L. reported that the grapes were well balanced with good acidity, grade and colour resulting in a very aromatic and fresh young wine.

El Circulo Crianza was newly launched last year. The new 2005 has just been bottled and is now available to the UK market. The 2005 vintage has been catalogued as excellent. This wine is well-balanced and high in quality.

The El Circulo range, from the Felix Solis owned Pagos del Rey winery in the Rioja Alta region, is exclusive to the off-trade market and is designed with this sector in mind. With modern circular shaped labels in black and gold, this range is aimed at the contemporary market and has been specifically created to offer a point of difference on quality Rioja wines.

El Circulo Joven won a silver medal in the Wine & Spirit Design Awards 2008, a testament to it's forward-looking presentation.

The range gives fantastic value for money. El Circulo Joven has an RRP of around £5.49 and El Circulo Crianza has an RRP of around £6.99

Free Run Wines /Felix Solis will be presenting both wines on stand R55 at the London International Wine Fair 2008.
