Read more about

Magners Irish Cider is launching a new 330ml PET bottle.

Ideal for all occasions where glass restrictions may apply, Magners PET is also perfect for gigs, large venues, nightclubs as well as outdoor and sporting events.

Following increasing trade demand for the new format, the PET bottle will extend the occasions and events at which Magners Irish Cider can already be enjoyed.

The plastic bottle is completely safe and portable and has a six-month shelf life.

Jules Macken, Brand Manager at Magners, said: “Cider is the only LAD category showing volume growth in England and Wales, fuelled largely by packaged Cider.

“This new pack has been developed in response to considerable trade demand and enables us to continue to recruit new consumers to the cider category and the Magners brand.

“The new PET bottle will enable consumers to enjoy a refreshing drink of Magners on many more occasions.”

Magners in the new 330ml PET bottle will be will be available to buy in cases of 24 from May 2008.
