As pressure builds from the government for the drinks industry to sign up to the Responsibility Deal to improve public health, Harpers launches a campaign to ensure the trade is taking the necessary steps to get its house in order or face legislation. Responsibility OK aims to help businesses at all levels of the drinks industry take the steps necessary to comply with the deal, but equally get the credit and publicity for doing so. The goal of the initiative is to provide the government with evidence the drinks industry is doing what is required at all levels, big and small. Be it displaying units and alcohol levels on drinks labels, through to responsibility and health messages in-store, and overall educational messages to your customers. While we can't all go as far as the Diageos, Pernods and Tescos, there are aspects of the deal everyone involved in the selling, distributing and promoting of drinks can comply with. When you have signed up to the deal, let us know how you're going to make your business more responsible by emailing This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it and we'll compile a best-practice dossier to help others, and let the government know what we're doing. You can have your say on responsibility and follow the campaign on hashtag #responsibilityOK on Twitter. As part of Harpers Responsibility OK campaign:
