As of July 2011, 220 firms have signed up to the deal, with 110 of those agreeing to the alcohol pledges. Jeremy Beadles, chief executive of the WSTA and co-chairman of the Responsibility Deal’s alcohol, says the drinks trade’s participation is “way beyond other sectors”.
