Frizzenti taps into Prosecco popularity
Sparkling wine brand Frizzenti is capitalising on the growing popularity of Prosecco with its on-tap solution for the on-trade.
The elegant dispenser serves Frizzenti Classico and Rosato and is likely to boost by-the-glass sales of Prosecco in on-trade outlets. The system ensures each glass of Prosecco has the right amount of fizz and will mean less wastage for licensees.
George Workman, managing director of Frizzenti, said: “Prosecco is the world’s fastest-growing sparkling wine, with sales nearly doubling in the UK in the past year. Consumers are actively seeking out this iconic Italian sparkling wine, so to satisfy demand licensees should ensure they provide a by-the-glass solution.
“Pubs and bars are naturally concerned about opened bottles losing their sparkle and the potential wastage, but serving it direct from the keg eliminates that risk. The kegs are also reusable, which minimises carbon footprint, they guarantee the perfect serve each and every time and ultimately are a great way to boost profits.”
Frizzenti Classico is made from Glera grapes, while Rosato is made from Pinot Nero and Raboso, and both have an abv of 10.5%.
The Frizzenti dispenser is suitable for hotels, restaurants, pubs and bars and comes in a 20-litre keg which is placed under the bar.
